An Air Canada flight to Montreal from Morocco was cancelled after a heated argument between a flight attendant and a passenger who requested for a blanket, The New York Publish reported. A video of the incident aboard Flight AC73, recorded on July 26, reveals an offended flight attendant making offended gestures and ranting on the passenger.
The passenger had requested a blanket as a result of the cabin temperature was too chilly. The crew member additionally reportedly tried to disembark the passenger from the aircraft.
“Both you behave or we get off!” the crew member shouts to the passenger. “I will inform the captain instantly. Sure or no?” she is heard saying.
When different passengers requested her to name the captain, the stewardess refused, saying: “I do not need my crew to be intimidated.” She is then seen storming out of the hallway.
The aircraft was already on the runway when the combat broke out. The flight departed a day later, after the airline employed a distinct crew.
In a press release, Air Canada stated passengers had been supplied compensation for the delay and applicable motion could be taken, the airline instructed CTV Information. “We take this incident very critically,” a spokesperson for the airline stated.
“We apologize to our prospects and deeply remorse that their expertise in the present day fell far wanting what they anticipated when flying with Air Canada,” the assertion added.
