Seven individuals had been injured in central Israel, the nationwide ambulance service reported, after three projectiles had been fired from Lebanon early on Saturday.
The Israeli navy stated projectiles had been fired into Israeli territory and sirens sounded in a number of areas of central Israel. Some projectiles had been intercepted, he added.
“It’s most definitely {that a} fallen projectile was recognized within the space,” the military added, noting that the small print had been being investigated.
The nationwide ambulance service and native media stated the accidents ranged from delicate to average, whereas two different individuals suffered signs of stress.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq later stated in an announcement that it had launched drones towards a “very important goal” in northern Israel. It was not instantly clear if the group’s motion was associated to the accidents.
