BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj and Jawaharlal Nehru College (JNU) Vice-Chancellor Santishree D. Pandit on Friday (August 16) participated in a march organised beneath the banner of Nari Shakti Discussion board, a Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS)-backed organisation, in Delhi to protest towards violence towards Hindus in Bangladesh following the ouster of the Sheikh Hasina authorities.
Talking on the occasion, Ms Swaraj mentioned the scenario in Bangladesh, ensuing from political instability, was extraordinarily worrying and the most important sufferer of this instability was the Hindu neighborhood.
“Girls are being raped and males are being tortured. Our spiritual locations are additionally being vandalised. With right this moment’s protest march, we need to inform Bangladeshi Hindus and different minorities that we’re with them and they aren’t alone on this,” she mentioned.
