Paraguayan President Santiago Peña was in secure situation Monday evening after being hospitalized whereas attending the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the hospital stated.
Peña was admitted on Monday afternoon and underwent some exams after experiencing “discomfort,” the Samaritano hospital in Rio de Janeiro reported in a press release.
“It is okay, it is being noticed and ready for outcomes,” Paraguay’s first woman Leticia Ocampos stated on social media.
Earlier, Vice President Pedro Alliana stated on social media that he had spoken with Peña after the president skilled a “slight indisposition.”
