Japanese anime director Hayao Miyazaki has been awarded the Ramon Magsaysay Prize, popularly often known as the Nobel Prize of Asia.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman praised the Japanese filmmaker for the achievement and stated his masterpieces My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki’s Supply Service You’ll be able to watch it as many instances as you need.
Ms Sitharaman described Mr Miyazaki as a magician.
He went on to say that anime, as a style, has quite a bit in retailer for adults.
Mr. Miyazaki, together with producer Toshio Suzuki, based Studio Ghibli in 1985. The studio has left an indelible mark on the world of animation and storytelling. It was born out of a need to create animated movies that strayed from the everyday clichés of the business on the time.
