Israel’s Netanyahu says Iran can pay for missile assault, as Tehran threatens crushing response if Israel responds.
Iran has carried out a significant missile assault in opposition to Israel, in retaliation, it says, for the assassination of Hezbollah and Hamas leaders, in addition to a prime commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Israel says it intercepted many of the roughly 200 missiles, with assist from america.
World leaders are urging each side to step again from the brink of a regional struggle.
However Israel has promised to reply, warning that Iran can pay for its “large mistake.”
