Rocket sirens sounded throughout central Israel, together with Tel Aviv, on Sunday for the primary time in months, as Hamas claimed to have launched a barrage of rockets from Gaza, the Reuters information company reported.
Hamas’s armed wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, introduced a “main missile assault” in opposition to Tel Aviv. Based on the report, the Israeli military responded by sounding sirens within the metropolis middle to warn of incoming rockets.
In a press release on its Telegram channel, the al-Qassam Brigades stated the rockets had been launched in response to what they referred to as “Zionist massacres in opposition to civilians.”
Hamas’ Al-Aqsa tv channel confirmed that the rockets had been fired from the Gaza Strip.
This incident marked the primary time in 4 months that rocket sirens had been heard in Tel Aviv. The Israeli army didn’t instantly make clear the reason for the sirens.
Israeli emergency medical companies stated that they had obtained no stories of casualties.
