On Saturday (17 August 2024) a hearth broke out at Somerset Home, a big arts area on the River Thames in central London.
Smoke was popping out of the constructing and flames may very well be seen coming from the roof as firefighters sprayed the constructing with water from excessive ladders.
The reason for the hearth is just not but recognized, the London Fireplace Brigade stated. Fifteen hearth engines and round 100 firefighters had been deployed.
Somerset Home stated all workers and members of the general public had been protected and the venue was closed. The venue was scheduled to host a breakdancing occasion.
