Six individuals had been killed and 25 injured when a bus overturned in Turkey’s central Aksaray province on Friday (Oct 18, 2024), the native governor mentioned.
Governor Mehmet Ali Kumbuzoglu instructed reporters it was unclear what brought about the accident on the Aksaray-Ankara freeway. The bus was carrying passengers from the western province of Balikesir to the Cappadocia area, a well-liked vacationer vacation spot in central Turkey.
“The injured had been rushed to the hospital. “An investigation has been launched into the accident,” he mentioned.
The accident occurred on a freeway in Afyonkarahisar province, about 250 kilometers (155 miles) southwest of Ankara, Anadolu Company reported.
