An unexploded American bomb from World Struggle II that had been buried at a Japanese airport exploded on Wednesday (Oct. 2, 2024), inflicting a big crater on a taxiway and canceling greater than 80 flights, Japanese officers stated. .
Nobody was injured and no planes have been close by when the bomb exploded at Miyazaki airport in southwestern Japan, Ministry of Land and Transportation officers stated.
